Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 August 2026
1. Summary
LSX4 collects a limited amount of usage data through Google Analytics, and purchases you make in the app are processed by Google Play. Your game files stay on your device and are never uploaded. Optional diagnostics are turned off when you install the app and send nothing until you turn them on yourself.
2. Who we are
LSX4 for Android is published by Jetcalls LLC, based on the open-source LSX4 project.
- Website: lsx4.app
- Contact: [email protected]
3. Analytics
LSX4 uses Google Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. Analytics reports can include:
- App interactions: screens opened, features used, session start and duration.
- App information: package name, app version and update status.
- Device information: manufacturer, model, Android version, language and screen size.
- Approximate location (country or region), derived from your IP address by Google.
- An app-instance identifier that distinguishes your installation from others. It is not your name and does not identify you personally, but under Google Play rules it counts as a device identifier.
Analytics data is collected and processed by Google on our behalf. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising. For how Google processes this data, see Google’s privacy policy.
Our website lsx4.app also uses Google Analytics with cookies to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept the notice shown on the site.
4. In-app purchases
Purchases in LSX4 are processed by Google Play. We never receive your card number, bank details or billing address. We receive a confirmation of the purchase — the product purchased, an order identifier, a purchase token and the time of purchase — and use it only to unlock what you bought and to help with support and refunds. Payments are subject to Google Payments’ privacy notice.
5. Data we do not collect
The app does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location beyond the approximate region described above, photos or calendar. LSX4 has no user accounts and no sign in. We never sell your data and never share it for advertising or marketing.
6. News and updates
If you enroll for news and updates on our website, we use your email address to send you occasional news about LSX4, such as the launch and new releases. We do not share the address with anyone and do not use it for anything else. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by writing to [email protected], and we will remove your address.
7. Your files
Files you add to LSX4 are stored only on your device, in the app private storage or in a folder you choose. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Removing the app removes the files stored in its private storage.
8. Optional diagnostics
LSX4 includes a diagnostics feature that is DISABLED by default. You can turn it on in Settings, and you can turn it off again at any time. While it is off, LSX4 sends nothing.
If you turn it on, LSX4 periodically sends a report that contains:
- Device information: manufacturer, model, device name, Android version and build fingerprint.
- App information: package name, app version, the process name, and the identifier of the title you are running.
- Resource information: available storage and memory figures.
- An installation identifier. This is a short value derived by a one way hash from your Android device identifier together with the app package name. It is not your device identifier and cannot be reversed back into it, but it stays the same for as long as the app is installed, so under Google Play rules it counts as a device identifier.
- Application log output. Logs describe what the app is doing. They can include file names and file paths of content you added, so avoid enabling diagnostics if those names are sensitive to you.
Reports are sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We use them only to find and fix defects in LSX4.
9. Network access
LSX4 requests internet access and network state permissions. They are used to send analytics, to process and verify purchases, and to send diagnostic reports when you have enabled them. Running your games needs no connection: LSX4 plays fully offline.
10. Retention and deletion
Analytics data is retained for the period configured in Google Analytics and deleted afterwards. Purchase records are kept as long as needed for support, refunds and legal obligations. Diagnostic reports are kept only as long as they are useful for fixing defects and are deleted afterwards.
To stop any further diagnostic reports, turn diagnostics off in Settings. To request deletion of data already sent, write to [email protected] and tell us your device manufacturer and model, the app version, and the approximate dates you used the app, so that we can find and remove the matching records.
11. Children
LSX4 is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Legal basis and your rights
Where data protection law applies to you, we rely on: your consent for optional diagnostics (given by switching them on, withdrawable by switching them off); the performance of a contract for processing purchases; and our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the app for analytics, or your consent where the law requires it. You have the right to ask what data we hold about your installation, to ask for it to be deleted, and to complain to your data protection authority.
13. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at lsx4.app/privacy and the date at the top will be updated.
